A regional film fund
The growing success of the film industryin Norrbotten is due largely to the efforts of Filmpool Nord AB, which has an annualbudget of 3.3 million euro. Filmpool Nord, with its head office in the region’slargest city, Luleå, is Sweden’s second largest regional film-production centreafter Film in West, Trollhättan.

Today, a strong infrastructure is now in place, enabling the continued development of the film and TV industry in the region.

Among other services, Filmpool Nord can provide:
  • co-production financing for feature-film, short-film, documentary and TV productions
  • studio facilities
  • special programmes for young filmmakers
