Filmpool Nord – a regional film fund

The growing success of the film industry in Norrbotten is due largely to the efforts of Filmpool Nord AB, which has an annual budget of 3.3 million euro. Filmpool Nord, with its head office in the region’s largest city, Luleå, is Sweden’s second largest regional film-production centre after Film in West, Trollhättan. Today, a strong infrastructure is now in place, enabling the continued development of the film and TV industry in the region.
